Registered Counsellor

I am a Registered Counsellor in Pinelands, experienced in working with children and adolescents who are facing struggles at school in areas like ADHD, learning difficulties or bullying.

As a mom of twins, I also have a special interest in maternal mental health and love to work with parents who may be experiencing “baby worries” or who are are having a tough time adjusting to the arrival of a new baby.

My approach is informed by the specific needs of the client. I am able to use play and art therapeutic methods.

In terms of assessment, I am able to provide subject choice guidance for grade 9 pupils as well as school readiness assessment for Grade R pupils. Even when a child is school ready, this assessment often provides invaluable information around areas of learning strength and weakness which can inform intervention going forward.
