Clinical Psychologist

I am a clinical psychologist that offers therapy for adults and couples. I am passionate about offering a non- judgmental and safe environment in order to build a trusting therapeutic alliance- which allows for a meaningful therapy process.

I completed my Master’s degree at UP. During my training I worked at Weskoppies Psychiatric hospital, 1Military hospital and Itsoseng clinic. During my internship I went on to work at Tara Psychiatric Hospital and Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital at the child psychiatric unit. I then completed my community service at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital.

My varied experience has enriched my understanding of the complexity of each individual. Through various roles in group and individual group settings, I have gained a great appreciation for the value of the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client. I believe that it is the vehicle through which the client is truly able to explore all parts of his/herself, and thereby enhance his/ her well being.
