Clinical Psychologist

I am a Clinical Psychologist working in Rivonia, Sandton. I have been in private practice since 2003, after a few years of civilian work in the South African National Defence Force.

I see adult clients and couples dealing with a wide spectrum of problems. As a psychologist, I understand the difficultly in dealing with the challenges that life presents and that individuals and couples face. Embarking on therapy can be a daunting and vulnerable process. I see therapy as a safe and healing space that can help facilitate insight and change within the confidential space of a therapeutic relationship. As such therapy is a non-judgemental relationship that allows the individual to process their thoughts and feelings and make sense and meaning and develops tools for and around the problems being experienced. Each therapy is tailored to the specific needs of the client. My aim is to empower my clients to independently deal more effectively with their problems leading to greater fulfilment in self and relationships.
