Sarah Croxford

Clinical Psychologist

Investing in your psychological well-being can help you realize your fullest potential and achieve more satisfying and stable interpersonal relationships. Seeking emotional support in a non-judgmental and confidential space offers a way to deal with, and work through, personal, family, or life challenges and explore more adaptive ways of being in the world. Healing is perceived and experienced in many different ways through different value systems and beliefs, and while working predominantly from a psychodynamic perspective, it allows for adjusting, to work with your individual needs and expectations.

I provide short term and long term therapy to people with various concerns ranging from feelings of emptiness or discontent in daily life, to those individuals requiring assistance in dealing with changing circumstances, as well as clients dealing with illnesses that cause intense and persistent distress.

My areas of interest and specialisation include:

  • Addiction (drugs, sex, gambling, etc)
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety / panic
  • Bereavement / grief
  • Major psychiatric conditions, e.g. bipolar disorder
  • Depression
  • Personal growth
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Stress / lifestyle
  • Self esteem
  • Conflict management and assertiveness
