Seeking counselling can feel overwhelming, but I want you to know that you’re not alone on this journey. I believe that the foundation of healing lies in the therapeutic relationship – it is a space built on trust, compassion, and understanding. Each person has within them the ability to heal and grow, and this process begins from within. It’s about reconnecting with ourselves through mind, heart, and intuition. By cultivating self-compassion and a gentle curiosity toward our own experiences, we start to discover a deeper sense of self, which allows us to embrace a new way of being – led by our true, compassionate selves.

I’m committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where you can connect authentically with your emotions and explore them in a way that feels meaningful and healing. Drawing on Carl Rogers’ person-centred therapy, I emphasize the importance of empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence in our relationship. These qualities help foster an environment where you can tap into your own inner potential and find the answers you’re seeking.

Each session is uniquely shaped by you—your needs, your pace, and your journey. I take a humanistic approach to counselling, which allows you to be present with your emotions and gently work through them with mindfulness and self-compassion.

I work with a variety of life challenges, from building resilience to improving overall wellness. I have a particular interest in supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, career concerns, and personal development. If you’re looking to better understand yourself, manage emotions, develop coping skills, improve communication, or navigate life’s ups and downs, I’m here to walk that path with you.

Some of the approaches I use include Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Compassionate Inquiry, Internal Family Systems, and Solution-Focused Therapy. A very useful tool is the Integrative Enneagram, which facilitates your self-discovery journey by revealing the underlying behavioural patterns that subconsciously drive and motivate you. The foundation of my work is always a Person-Centred and Compassionate approach, where you, the client, are at the heart of everything we do together.

Wellness counselling, in a philosophical sense, focuses on holistic well-being, addressing the mind, body, and spirit to foster personal growth and balance. Rooted in humanistic and existential philosophies, it emphasizes self-awareness, autonomy, and the search for meaning. The approach encourages clients to explore their inner world, align with their values, and embrace personal responsibility for their wellness journey. Wellness counsellors guide individuals toward a deeper understanding of themselves, helping them integrate emotional, physical, and mental health into a harmonious, fulfilling life. The process often involves fostering resilience, mindfulness, and self-empowerment.
