Janice Symons-Bradbury - Online Counselling Psychologist

Janice Symons-Bradbury

Counselling Psychologist

As a Counselling Psychologist with over two decades of experience, I help individuals, families, and children move through life’s challenges with greater awareness, compassion, and resilience. My approach is holistic and integrative, combining BWRT® (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy), mindfulness-based practices, and evidence-based therapeutic frameworks to support healing and growth.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey — one where both client and therapist engage with curiosity, courage, and openness to change. My focus areas include trauma recovery, self-esteem and motivation, mindfulness-based living, and personal development. I’m particularly drawn to supporting women in midlife and menopause, helping them reconnect with purpose, identity, and self-acceptance.

Alongside my clinical work, I lecture and supervise psychology students at SACAP and provide mentorship in the Work Integrated Learning and research supervision modules. I’ve also worked as a marker for Raizcorp, fostering growth in entrepreneurial and personal development contexts.

I currently offer online therapy, creating a flexible and accessible space for clients to reflect, grow, and thrive — wherever they are in their journey.
