Lisa Coetzer
I completed my Honours Degree in Social Work in 1991and have worked in various settings in this capacity; including an Inpatient Substance Abuse Centre. In 2003, I returned to University to complete my Psychology Honours and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling – specialising in Career Counselling.
More recent work experience has included lecturing at Varsity College as well as in a Student Counselling capacity – helping establish this position nationally across all Varsity College campuses. For the past seven years I have been employed as a Counsellor at a local girl’s high school, providing me with enormous experience in the counselling field. I have loved helping young woman find healthy ways of dealing with a numerous range of emotional and social issues; as well assisting them in making informed subject and career choices.
