I am a registered counsellor and TRE provider. TRE stands for Trauma and Tension Release Exercises. These exercises gently move the psoas muscle, which is sometimes called the “trauma muscle”. Once the process has been learned, you can do it at home any time. TRE empowers people to help themselves. Because the exercises can be learned in groups, it’s also cost-effective.
TRE is an easy and natural process that has helped millions of people across the world who have had all kinds of trauma. It is also used in corporate and wellness settings to teach people to manage their daily stress.
Trauma counselling is the other service I offer. This is useful for people who need to talk about their problems in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. I offer groups and individual counselling.
Trauma that does not resolve by itself or goes untreated can lead to serious health problems. Trauma is linked to auto-immune diseases, insomnia, addiction, intimacy problems, inflammatory conditions (like arthritis), digestive problems, depression, and many other issues. If you suspect that past trauma is still affecting you, why not give TRE or trauma counselling a try?
